Getting enough sleep, regular breaks throughout the workday, and having time away from usual settings can allow the mind and body to recover and recharge. This process may enhance creativity and problem solving ability, which are vital for performance.  Rest can contribute to a sustainable career trajectory. A well rested individual can be more likely to make thoughtful decisions, engage in meaningful collaboration, and adapt effectively to change. Chronic fatigue and mental exhaustion can lead to errors in judgment, strained working relationships, and diminished motivation. By integrating rest into their routines, people can foster a more balanced, productive, and fulfilling career. In a field such as recruitment where people interact with each other regularly, it can be obvious if a person lacks rest.
