Manila, Philippines - As part of our commitment to sharing our knowledge with the future leaders of the Philippines, we recently attended Global Trends and Issues in Financial Management, a seminar at the Claro M. Recto Hall at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

Manpower (Philippines) President and CEO, Rommel Roque, shared his insights on global trends affecting financial markets. He delved into global geopolitics: how this year holds the distinction of "The Ultimate Election Year". Also among the topics was a dive into the world's reliance on the dollar, and how it has shifted over the past decade. Rommel also hit closer to home, talking about the strength of ASEAN, and finally zeroing in on the growth and potential of the Philippines.
Before the end of his talk, Rommel made sure to elaborate on his experience throughout his career, which gave the student attendees a view into his unique roles as a business leader, a champion of dignity through work, and as a Filipino fostering an ecosystem that empowers individuals to thrive in their careers.
